DASP: Distributed and Autonomic Scientific Publisher Proposal for Editorial Process Management on Permissioned Blockchain

Abstract: This paper presents an open-source Distributed Autonomic Scientific Publisher, which works on a permissioned blockchain network, automatically organized through a smart contract that organizes the whole business logic of the tool, allowing the auditing of the whole process, ensuring the copyrights for the students involved in the publication of each article, besides reducing the implementation costs and the complexity of the editorial mechanisms. The proof of concept was developed as an editorial management tool with the basic processes of submission, review, and evaluation.
