He has a doctorate degree in Informatics at the Pontifical Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro (2003). He has been an associate professor at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). He joined the Post-Graduation Program on Computer Science at the same university since its creation. Since 2010, He has been the CEO of the Science and Technology Guamá Park along with UFPA and State Government, being also responsible for the park implantation. He has been an associate and special commission events director of the Brazilian Computing Society (SBC). He has been editor of the Brazilian Magazine of Computer Networks and Distributed Systems. He has worked as committee member of the program and as a reviewer of conferences, workshops, international and national journals. He has been an IEEE member and He has represented UFPA along with the National Laboratory of Computer Networks (LARC). He has coordinated the Research Group on Computer Networks and Multimedia Communication - GERCOM, in which He has led many research and development projects in regional, national and international scope. He was the main coordinator of the Belém Metropolitan Network (METROBEL) and He is currently its main administrative manager. His main focus is on support systems for innovation, computer science, with emphasis con computer networks as well as in the following topics: Future Internet, Software Defined Networks, Wireless Networks, Mobility, TCP/IP Architecture, Multicast, Quality of Service, Quality of Experience and Security.
Eduardo Coelho Cerqueira
He is a technologist in data processing at the Amazon University (UNAMA -2000), Master degree in Computer Science at Federal University of Santa Catarina (2003), Doctorate in Informatics Engineering at the Coimbra University (2008) and post-doctorate in Informatics Engineering at the same university in 2009, as well as in Computer Science at the University of California in Los Angeles. He was invited to join in the Informatics Faculty as an invited professor up to 2009. Currently, He has been an Associated I professor of the Telecommunication and Computing Engineering of the Technology Institute at UFPA. He has organized 4 international books, He owns 4 international registered patents and more than 180 published papers in conferences, workshops and journals, either national or international. He is an active committee member and participates as a president, invited editor and vice-president of conferences, workshops and national and international journals. His research interests are in: Mobility, Multimedia, Quality of Experience and Quality of Service, Pervasive and Ubiquitous Computing and Future Internet.
Denis Lima do RosárioHe is undergraduate in Computer Engineering at the Amazon Higher Studies Institute (IESAM - 2007). In 2010, He got his Master in Automation Engineering at the Federal University of Santa Catarina
(UFSC), witha a 'inter university exchange doctorate at the Cister University of the Higher Institute of Engineering in Porto, Portugal (2009). In 2014, He has received his co-supervision doctorate degree, from both UFPA and Berna University. In 2015, He finished his post-doctorate in Computer Science of the Post-Graduation Program in Computer Science at UFPa. At present, He has been adjunct professor, A class, of the Computing Faculty of the Exact and Natural Science Institute at UFPA. His research interests are: Ubiquitous and Pervasive Computing, Quality of Service, Quality of Experience, Mobility and Multimedia.
